Welcome to wherehasmyhairgone.com!
wherehasmyhairgone.com has been designed for people who have just discovered they are losing their hair, as well as for those who have been coping with hair loss for a while. Alopecia is the word given to hair loss and by the time you read this you may have been diagnosed with this condition by your GP or dermatologist. Alternatively you may have been affected by hair loss as a result of chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other illness. Approximately 1% of the population have alopecia at any one time. Alopecia is more common than people realise and affects men, women, children and young people of all ages. It is not life threatening, painful or contagious.
The primary aim of wherehasmyhairgone.com is to act as a oneāstop alopecia information point. It also provides a step by step guide to coping with alopecia on a daily basis.
I was recently diagnosed with alopecia, so wherehasmyhairgone.com has been written partly as a result of my own search for information about this condition, as well as out of a desire to help and support other sufferers.
Membership of wherehasmyhairgone.com is FREE. When you join, you will have access to many benefits including use of the members message board and discounts on wigs and other hair loss related products and services.
wherehasmyhairgone.com is here to help and support you, so please email alison@wherehasmyhairgone.com if you have any comments or suggestions about the site.
